Our commitment

Absolute Mobile Home Closings is committed to making mobilehomeclosings.com usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility isn't a one-time project for us — it's something we intend to keep paying attention to as the site evolves.

Conformance target

We've built this site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), the standard most commonly referenced by the ADA and courts for web accessibility. WCAG is developed by the W3C and organized around four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

What we've done

Specific to this site, that includes:

  • A "skip to main content" link for keyboard users, so you don't have to tab through the full navigation on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability, including a properly trapped and labeled dialog for the county-selection popup, and expand/collapse state announced on the mobile menu and FAQ accordion.
  • Every text and background color combination on the site checked against WCAG's 4.5:1 contrast requirement using the actual math, not a guess.
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images (like Kate's photo and the closing-desk photo), and decorative icons explicitly hidden from screen readers so they don't add noise.
  • A single, logical heading structure on every page, so screen reader users can navigate by heading the way they would with a table of contents.
  • Animations that respect your device's "reduce motion" setting — if you've asked your operating system to minimize motion, this site listens.

Known limitations

No website is perfectly accessible, and this one is no exception. Some third-party elements embedded on this site — like the Google reviews widget — are built and maintained outside of our control, and we can't guarantee their accessibility meets the same standard we hold the rest of the site to. If you run into something that doesn't work the way it should, we genuinely want to know.
